AI for Business: A Free Practical Course
A free 7-part course for startup founders, board members, and business leaders. No jargon, no code, no prerequisites. Just the practical AI skills you need to get real results.
This free 7-part course teaches you to use AI tools right now, not someday. Each post takes 10-15 minutes, covers one practical skill, and includes hands-on exercises. No coding. No jargon. Just the stuff that actually moves the needle for your business.
AI is the most powerful business tool most founders still aren't using properly. Not because it's hard, but because most guides assume you already know things you don't. This AI for business course fixes that.
We built this at ZeroShot Studio after running live workshops for startup founders and board members. The questions they asked shaped every section. If something confused a room full of smart people, we rewrote it until it didn't.
Who is this for?
You run a business, sit on a board, or lead a team. You've probably used ChatGPT a few times. Maybe you were impressed, maybe you weren't. Either way, you know AI matters and you want to use it well, not just dabble.
You don't need any technical background. If you can write an email, you can do everything in this course.
What does this AI for business course cover?
Seven posts. Seven skills. Each one builds on the last, but you can also dip into whichever topic you need most.
- AI Is a Prediction Engine, Not a Brain -- How AI actually works, what it's good at, and where it falls flat. The mental model that stops you wasting time on the wrong tasks.
- The Difference Between 'Meh' and 'Wow' -- Prompt engineering for real people. A five-part framework that turns vague requests into sharp results.
- Making AI Sound Like Your Brand, Not a Robot -- Extract your brand voice and teach AI to use it. Stop sounding like every other company's chatbot.
- AI That Takes Action, Not Just Answers -- Build AI agents that do work for you, without writing code. Automate the repetitive stuff so you can focus on the stuff that matters.
- Research a Competitor in One Prompt -- A hands-on exercise. Build a competitor analysis in under 5 minutes using a single prompt template.
- Your Team Is Already Using AI. Here's How to Not Get Burned -- Data handling, GDPR, and the security gaps most small teams don't know they have.
- Your AI Action Plan: 5 Challenges, 20 Minutes -- Five timed challenges that put everything together. Walk away with real outputs you can use tomorrow.
What makes this different?
Every post includes interactive elements you can use right in the browser. A token visualiser that shows you how AI reads text. A prompt builder where you assemble prompts piece by piece. A tone extractor that analyses your writing style. These aren't gimmicks. In our ZeroShot Studio workshops, the interactive bits were consistently what made concepts click.
Each post also includes diagrams and visual guides showing exactly how the concepts work in practice.
How long does it take?
Budget 10-15 minutes per post, or about 90 minutes for the full course. That's roughly one lunch break's worth of learning that'll shift how you think about AI tools.
